French in Medieval Britain Seminar

A collaborative seminar from the Centre for Medieval Studies

Event details

Abstract

We are launching a regular seminar, held under the auspices of the Learning Anglo-French project and open to all interested Exeter medievalists (and, indeed, non-medievalists). We will gather roughly twice a term to discuss a piece of significant scholarship (e.g. an article or a book chapter) relating to the use of the French language in medieval Britain. The first meeting will be on Wednesday 14th May at 12:30; reading material and location will be made available the preceding week. Suggestions for reading that you would like to tackle are welcome. Any queries, please get in touch with Tom Hinton ([email protected]).
